BTSB- Little One Books Book Review & $15 Gift Certificate Giveaway

12:37 PM

I'm happy to bring to you today a review for a great company that is an essential online store to go to this back to school season! Little One Books is a great company that carries books, music, and videos. Little One Books makes a commitment to specialize in quality books, music, and videos for children from birth to 5 years old.

I love that the Little One Books website is set up perfectly and easily to find their products for certain age groups or to find specific products because they have a category for just books, music, or videos.

ABOUT LITTLE ONE BOOKS:
(Information provided by Little One Books)

"Joan McCoy and Barney Cohen have five grandchildren under the age of seven. They started a web-based store because they saw an unmet need in the area of children’s media. Little One Books only carries quality books, music, and video, for children birth through age five. As they looked for books, music and videos for their own grandchildren, they were overwhelmed by the number of products.  The search would have been so much easier had someone been able to guide them. That's why they created Little One Books - to help others make informed choices among the vast amount of material available for young children today.

"Barney and Joan have personally selected and reviewed each and every item that Little One Books carries. The Little One Books staff tells our customers why we have selected these products in the “Why we chose” section of our individual product pages. The Little One Books site is organized by age, and each product is matched to what we believe is the youngest appropriate age."

I had a great chance to choose a product from Little One Books from their array of fabulous products. I chose to review the Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day book. I chose this book because I remember growing up reading this book at school. I really enjoyed this book and it was a favorite of mine growing up. I had a teacher in elementary school that had us write our own story about our bad day and had us write a story pretending we were Alexander. That really stuck with me and was a fun assignment. This book helps children learn that we all have bad days and they are not alone on their bad days.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day was written by Judith Viorst. This book has been a classic book since 1972. I loved the book I received. The book was a hardcover book with added partial colored pages inside. I loved that this book was updated with some color to it to bring the pages more alive. I definitely love the new version of this book with a new red cover and color inside of the book.

I was excited to share my favorite book with my niece and nephew so they could learn about Alexander. They thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved reading the pages.

They also enjoyed their mom reading Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day book to them. I think books are wonderful and an essential tool to help children with their reading skills. Books also help parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, babysitters, and etc. bond with children in a very positive way to help children learn.

I definitely recommend Little One Books to everyone! They have great products that children will love and they have the best products out there, all in one place. Visit Little One Books today and view all the great products they have.
