I really do not know. it's been so long. I always enjoyed Sunday Dinners because we had Dessert.
ReplyDeleteMy Grandma was a farmer's wife and a wonderful cook. I loved everything she made and when I was little we would usually go to dinner at her house every Sunday. I especially loved her dumplings and her fried corn. It makes me sad that I never learned any of her cooking skills before she passed away.
ReplyDeleteI had a nanny & she made Mac`n`Cheese. Which I ate while watching the Dick Van Dyke show. Years later as I watched that show I could still smell the Mac`n`Cheese. An association thing ya know.
ReplyDeleteGood morning!

My favorite meal was my mother's matzoh ball soup. It was filled with chicken, carrots, matzoh balls, rice and lots of dill.
ReplyDeleteI loved my mom's hamburger gravy over mashed potatoes, or her hamburger stroganoff. I took them for granted while growing up, but now my hubby won't eat them so I never get them :)

ReplyDeleteI loved all the food my grandma made, especially chicken & dumplings & chicken noodle soup (all from scratch, even the noodles). I also liked my moms spaghetti & meatballs.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loves the fettucini alfredo my dad made. It is the best. I still love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI love my mom's Sweet And Sour Chicken and also her mac and cheese. I was totally pampered with a wholesome meal every night though--so I appreciate all she did and made for us like mash potatoes made from scratch at least once a week! ~mymiracles77 (http://myordinarymiraclesblog.com)
