     I had the great chance to review the Design and Drill Take-Along Toolkit from Educational Insights. I was really impressed with this toolkit product.

    We loved the portable toolkit that was convenient and easy to use! The toolkit comes with a toolbox to keep everything all into one place that folds out into an activity board. Also included were 60 bolts in 5 different colors, 3 different bits, and an electronic screwdriver. A pattern guide is also included that gives ideas for 13 different patterns to follow.


     We had a fun time making a flag design on our activity board. The screwdriver was easy to use. It comes with the options, forward, off, and reverse. There is also one button to use to make the screwdriver work. The screwdriver makes a fun drilling noise while drilling the bolts to the activity board.

     We had a great time playing with my nephew and watching him play with this fun toy. He had fun counting the bolts and telling us what color the bolts were. I loved it that he could do a fun art project without a big mess. The toolkit and bolts were very easy to clean up and was ready to use the next time. This toolkit is perfect to take to the babysitters with your child so they have something fun to do or it's great to take to grandma's house so grandma can play and help your child learn too.

       I think this activity is very neutral meaning any girl or boy would love to play with this toy. I think this activity is so much fun that any child would have fun with it.


       The toolkit is very durable and sturdy, but I think it is something you would not want to drop onto cement outside or hard flooring inside. I think this toolkit should be packed safely when taking it on the go.
