The shower one really works. I do that quite often, you feel great, relaxed and clean afterwords!
ReplyDeleteThese are some great ideas. I try to take a warm bubble bath with a good read once a week. It really does wonders.

I agree with the warm bath helping out, especially if you've got some sort of relaxing aromatherapy salts or wash to use in the bath.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing I do for high anxiety/stress is to drink a cup of chamomile tea. That really helped me relax while I was pregnant with Tessa.
Great Tips! I found you on Marketing Monday Blog Hop - hope you can return the follow!
ReplyDeleteAdding love to everything i do, may be just the thing i need. It'll help to sound less frustrated and bitter, i'm sure.
ReplyDeleteLearning to live one day at a time is hard for so many with a CRAZY schedule...you are always looking for what needs to be done the next minute, or hour or tomorrow or next week! It can take the joy our of NOW!!! It is so hard to not live your life in the future.
ReplyDeleteI agree that taking time for yourself to relax in a bath with some quiet music in the background is the best thing for ME to unwind. I also use Epsom salts to pull out the toxins and add some baking soda for this too, AND a tiny bit of ginger to invigorate at the end of your bath. ( I tell my husband if I add some flour n eggs Id be making a CAKE in there! LOL!)
I do find that as soon as I go in the bathroom to relax like this...the phone rings, a child is screamin MMMmmmoooooomMMMM at the door, or the phone rings. I think all of us need a secret bathroom where no one can find us! ;)
love #1 - i have a sign that asks, "if i have 24 hours left in my life, what would i do differently?"
