     Evelyn Leon was kind enough to send me a Shortbread Cookie Mix to review. I was excited to see what the Shortbread Cookies would taste like. I was also excited to make these cookies easily with the cookie mix. No measuring and no hassle! That is how I love to bake! Simply add butter to the mix and you are set! Awesome! The Shortbread Cookie Mix comes in a pretty gold package that would be perfect to wrap a bow around and give as a gift to your family or neighbors. 

 

ABOUT SHORTBREAD COOKIE MIX

     The directions to make the Shortbread Cookies are very simple! The directions are as easy as cutting a cup of butter into the mix until dough is formed. Roll out the dough to 1/4" thick and then use cookie cutters to make 3 " cookies. The cookies bake at 350 for 11-12 minutes. The cookies can also be dipped into chocolate with added sprinkles or chopped nuts on top for an additional fancy look and an additional great taste.

 

    

      I had a heart cookie cutter on hand so I made my cookies in a heart shape! I think they turned out cute and the heart shape is also a great way to show love this holiday season! The cookies turned out perfect by following the instructions on how to prepare and bake the cookies. I lost count of how many cookies the shortbread cookie mix made because we could not resist eating the cookies right away. The mix did make many cookies and I was impressed with the quantity that it made. The mix made around 2 dozen cookies.

     The cookies tasted very yummy with a buttery perfect shortbread cookie taste. I loved the chocolate added to the shortbread cookies because it gave an added chocolate taste to the shortbread cookies which was a perfect taste! These are the perfect dessert and treat this holiday season! They are simple, easy, and stress-free to make during this stressful holiday season!
