Stress Reducer Tips! #5




Yay! It's Stress Reducer Week 5 where I post 5 stress reducers every Monday! I can't believe I've written that many posts on stress reducer tips already! I love writing these because they remind me and I don't look at them until I type this post so it's fun for me!


Remember to have a great week! I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!





1. Make friends with nonworriers. Nothing can get you into the habit of worrying faster than associating with chronic worry warts.

2. Get up and stretch periodically if your job requires that you sit for extended periods.

3. Wear earplugs. If you need to find quiet at home, pop in some earplugs.

4. Get enough sleep. If necessary, use an alarm clock to remind you to go to bed.

5. Create order out of chaos. Organize your home and workspace so that you always know exactly where things are. Put things away where they belong and you won't have to go through the stress of losing things.



Have a stress-free week and try working on my stress reducers. I know I can use help in the get more sleep and organizing area!

Definitely working on #5. A little bit at a time, hehe. Also, I need more non-worrying friends. Most of them are more mellow than I am, does that count, hehe.

Once, again. I can't agree more with your stress reducers! I've put my headphones on because the house is too loud, but my family doesn't like it because I can't hear them when they are talking to me. ;-)

I love your Stress Reducers. So many of them seem like common sense, but we've totally gotten away from them, mostly, I think, because we are so rush-rush all the time. These are great, and I especially like the one from Week 3 about allowing extra time. If we would just admit that we are likely to encounter traffic delays and balky children, we would build in that extra time for accomplishing mundane tasks, and maybe add a few years to our lives by being relaxed while we do things. Great contribution, Natalie!

I think these are great ideas! Toxic relationships definitely add stress. Trying to avoid those at all costs!
